Longevity Maintenance Organization™
I have created a service that will bridge the gap between insurance and care provision, solving a shortfall in the Long-Term Care industry.
The service will develop and sell the Longevity Maintenance OrganizationTM (LMO), creating a network of insurance companies and care providers, thus providing value to customers with in-network and out-of-network coverage options. Long-Term Care Insurance and in-home and facility care providers will form a partnership through the LMO to control costs and coordinate care. Out-of-network options, providers not preapproved, will be partially covered by a specified daily benefit.
The LMO will be affordable because of it's unique approach to underwriting and actuarial calculations. Health at time of initial underwriting will be coupled with other factors including diet, exercise, attitude, and commitment to plan participation. Current actuarial standards use static morbidity tables, but the LMO will use shifting tables and modern premium conventions.
LMO services prior to claim will include preventative care, nutritional intervention, health and activity monitoring, and antiaging guidance. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and research will be a significant part of Bloom Lifecare's mission. Academic research and techniques will flow to our care coordinators and down to our customers as soon as they are proven safe and effective.
